Information on Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Parliant prides itself on producing quality software that is consistently reliable. Naturally, our users are concerned about whether our products will be compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard".
Current versions of all our Mac products are compatible and fully supported on Snow Leopard, including on 64-bit platforms like Xserve. Snow Leopard support was delivered in September 2009 as a free minor update to Parliant software products that were current at that time.
Here is a list of specific product information:
- PhoneValet Message Center: PhoneValet Message Center supports Snow Leopard starting with version 6.0.3, a free upgrade for owners of PhoneValet Message Center 6 or higher. Earlier versions (including those earlier than 6.0) are not compatible and will not be supported on Snow Leopard. downloads upgrade
- PhoneValet Home Edition: Before upgrading past Mac OS X 10.5.6, users should be aware of a deficiency in later releases of the Apple modem driver that affects audio performance. Apple has not repaired this issue in releases of Snow Leopard to date. Our workaround versions of PhoneValet Home Edition support Snow Leopard starting with PhoneValet Home Edition 1.1.4, a free upgrade for all owners of PhoneValet Home Edition. - CurbTalker: CurbTalker supports Snow Leopard starting with version 1.0.4, a free upgrade for all owners of CurbTalker. Earlier versions are not compatible and will not be supported on Snow Leopard. downloads
When you upgrade to Snow Leopard, Apple's installer may remove some important underlying software components. Simply re-run the most recent software installer to restore these files and regain full operation.
